 Dinosaur Habitats
 
 Set out rocks, plastic plants, toy dinosaurs and boxes of dirt or wet sand.
 Let your children arrange the rocks, plants, and dinosaurs in the boxes to
create dinosaur habitats.
 
 Matching Fossils and Bones
 
 Wash and air-dry a collection of chicken, beef, and pork bones.  Push the
bones flat into clay, then carefully remove them to leave a fossil like
impressions.  Allow the clay to air dry.  Set out clay and bones.  Let your
children take turns matching the bones to the appropriate impressions in the
clay.


*  You can make a stegosaurus hat from 4 large paper plates.  The children
paint the outside of each plate.  When this is done, staple three of the
plates together at the inside fold of the plates.  The final plate is folded
and placed in the opposite direction for the head plate.  Attach yarn to this
plate and the kids can be stegosaurus.
