* I received my caterpillars from insect lore this week so I tied in the letter for the kids. This is a great, easy project for anyone, in any grade. Day One- Caterpillars, we gave the children 5 precut small circles in different colors. They used a marker to draw the branch their caterpillar would be on then glued the corcles next to each other. They added a wiggly eye and mouth, antanae, and feet using the markers again. Day two - The letter Cc ditto we colored and then glued on cotton Day three - we made crabs using a circle folded in half and added precut claws, legs and eyes. They came out really cute. DAy four - cater pillars using white circles for the body and the kids will add tissue paper in different colors to decorate his body. They will use a markers to add features like feet and antanea(?) Day five - this idea was from the loop, don't know who it was but many thanks. Make a cat using the kids handprint for body and tail and add a circle for the head and then let the kids make facial features, sounds great but haven't done it myself yet. * C IS FOR CELERY WHAT YOU NEED: a..
